Hello,
I have a question for the experts here. We are planning a new build and are currently looking for an architect. One was recommended to us, and he seems quite nice. He has already completed some work for us without a contract. Now he wants to receive a formal contract from us and brought it over last Monday.
We had some questions about it and sent them to him by email on Thursday. We also made several adjustments to the floor plans. Unfortunately, he has not responded to us yet, which is quite frustrating.
Is this normal in this industry?
Thank you very much for your help.

I have had different experiences here. What matters is that the chemistry is right, and unfortunately, as humans, we are very different. Some prefer a more direct approach, while with others, you have to be especially careful about what is said. You have to adjust to that, and one thing is clear: we depend on each other.

If errors creep in here, it will become more expensive in the end and also extend the construction period. So it’s best to take your time with this part of the process.
