nicpp93Hello,
our roof is almost finished and the east side facade with ETICS is reinforced, now the verge flashing can be installed. We want a narrow verge flashing without verge tiles, but of course everything must be properly covered. The gable side in question faces west.
The sheet metal worker and roofer, both from the company, want to play it safe and say the flashing must extend at least 4-5 cm (1.5–2 inches) beyond the last tile. I have also seen houses where it was flush (which we do not want).
Wouldn’t 2-3 cm (0.8–1.2 inches) be enough?
