ᐅ How much does a turnkey prefabricated house with a granny flat cost?

Good evening,

We are planning to build a prefabricated house but are unsure about the potential costs.

Here are the main details:

- A serviced building plot is available in the 61440 area
- The granny flat (or secondary apartment) should be 30-50 sqm (323-538 sq ft), with the rest of the house starting at 80 sqm (861 sq ft). So a total of at least 110 sqm (1184 sq ft).

What is a realistic price range for a turnkey prefabricated house? We were thinking about 250,000-300,000 euros.

Additional question: There seem to be countless websites on this topic. How can you find (reputable) providers offering prefabricated houses that meet the criteria mentioned above? Is there perhaps a list or a filter system that only shows prefabricated houses with granny flats?

Thank you in advance for your help!

Why not sell one of the properties (it sounds like there are several) and invest the proceeds into the new project?

We are moving away from the idea of putting another house in the garden (our building plot)...

To me, it sounds like the house being requested here is supposed to be placed in the garden of the currently occupied house... does it have to be that small because there is little allowable building area left?

Hey.....no discrimination against minorities please! 😱
Yes – it can happen, I was surprised myself. But various conditions must be met.....
Mentioning facts is not discrimination. By the way, this does not apply to retirees!
Try asking a bank...

As for my opinion, I don’t mind being called a contrarian and simply doubt those odd numbers in my passport. Anyone can claim anything... There might be a difference between pensioner/retiree, but I know even less about financial matters. I was just surprised by the low interest rate and the amount both of us are receiving despite our age.

I actually don’t find this funny. There is no equal treatment between retirees and pensioners—and equality is very important in our country.

I don’t disagree with you there. Similar inequalities also exist between self-employed and salaried workers, as well as in many other areas. It’s not just UEFA that still has progress to make on equality; it’s an issue right on our doorstep. You only really notice it when you find yourself on the disadvantaged side.

It’s not only UEFA that still has a long way to go regarding equality; this applies right outside our doorsteps as well. You only really notice it once you find yourself on the disadvantaged side.

When it comes to age and the likelihood of dying sooner than a 40-year-old, it doesn’t matter whether someone is a retiree or a pensioner. Dead is dead. Debtors are gone. Loans remain outstanding and uncollectible debts stay on the books.
