Hello everyone, I recently moved into a quite small apartment and am looking for space-saving furniture that is also functional. I came across the Ikea Brimnes series, especially the wardrobe units and beds with storage. My question is: How well does the Ikea Brimnes line work in small apartments in terms of space utilization and everyday practicality? Does anyone have hands-on experience with whether the furniture can be combined well, if it feels bulky or fits well in tight spaces? I am particularly interested in aspects such as storage capacity, material quality, and whether assembling the furniture is manageable in small apartments. Thanks in advance for your tips!

A few tips on furnishing with Brimnes in small apartments:

- Be sure to measure the room before purchasing.
- Use multifunctional furniture, such as beds with drawers.
- Make sure the furniture isn’t too deep to avoid restricting movement.
- When assembling in small apartments: assemble in as open an area as possible, or even outside, to prevent mess.

This way, you can use the space efficiently.

The drawers under the bed are an absolute storage game-changer.

I couldn’t agree more! You often think that in a small space there is hardly any room, but with clever storage solutions like this, everything feels much more open 😄. A small tip: Use light colors or white furniture pieces so it doesn’t feel overwhelming and the room seems larger. Brimnes is also quite budget-friendly.

Exactly! Light tones make such a big difference, definitely try this with Brimnes. For me, the white wardrobe made the room look more open. And this shows: with a bit of planning, even small apartments can feel super cozy and practical!
