Hello everyone, I am currently working on assembling the sliding doors for the Ikea Pax wardrobe and have a detailed question: How is the overall construction of the sliding doors designed, which components are essential, and how are they installed to ensure smooth operation while remaining stable? I am especially interested in how the running tracks, rollers, and guiding systems interact and what you need to pay close attention to during installation to avoid issues later on, such as doors hanging or sticking. I have read the instructions, but some steps are unclear to me—for example, how exactly the rollers are secured at the top and bottom and how to adjust the correct tension. Are there any practical tips or tricks from experience? Thanks in advance for all helpful answers!

It’s best to install the top track first, then hang the door panels to check the height and adjust it using the screws on the rollers. That’s exactly how I do it as well. Important: Hang the door at the top first, then guide the rollers at the bottom. Then adjust the screws on the top rollers until the door fits perfectly.
