Hello everyone, I have a specific question: I own an IKEA Brimnes bed with drawers, and unfortunately, some of the drawer fronts are damaged—cracks and chipped areas from daily use. My question is quite specific: How can I properly replace these damaged drawer fronts on the IKEA Brimnes without having to remove the entire drawer or the whole piece of furniture? Are there replacement parts available directly from IKEA, or do you need to replace the entire drawer? And most importantly, what is the actual process of replacing them—what screws or locking mechanisms should I be aware of? I look forward to any helpful tips and experiences!

The dimensions of the Brimnes drawer front vary depending on the model and size. For most standard drawers, the front measures approximately 80 cm (31.5 inches) wide and 37 cm (14.5 inches) high, but this may differ.

Replacement part order numbers are not always immediately available in IKEA’s stock. My advice: take the measurements with you to IKEA customer service or call them to discuss the best option. The serial number of your furniture piece (usually found on the back or underside of a part) will also help the service team.

This way, you can ask more specifically for replacement parts. If the fronts are not available, they will surely assist you with alternative solutions.
