ᐅ How would you assess the burglary resistance of the following windows?

I took photos of the windows in the house. They also have locks installed. The windows are 23 years old and are located on the ground floor.

The question is whether these locks are sufficient when the window is closed, or if it would be worthwhile to retrofit mushroom head locks.

Driving in the nails is still quick and not too loud, even with triple glazing... we had this situation a few months ago with the neighbor behind us... no one heard anything

Would a normal lock make a difference then? It takes 4 seconds instead of 3? Lifting it over is still lifting it over, so it probably doesn’t matter how far the catches slide into the strike plate.

No.
Take a look at your windows and see how many millimeters (inches) the latches engage in the frame.
Sorry for my technical jargon, but as a professional crime scene cleaner, I’ve seen a lot of latches. Most only engage about 7.5mm (3/10 inch). That’s the resistance the lever has to overcome in rigid plastic. Often a second tool is needed, but many trips are made with only one.
