Which fasteners are best suited for this – for example, special anchors, mounting rails, or additional reinforcements behind the drywall? As a supplement: If you cannot reach load-bearing studs in drywall and creating an opening for a cross brace is not possible, I recommend using special heavy-duty metal anchors (e.g., toggle bolts or hollow wall anchors) that provide high load capacity.
