Metod countertops are usually fastened with corner connectors that are screwed from inside the cabinets. If you need to join countertop seams, you should definitely use special connector plates.

Also, keep in mind that the countertops are weakened in areas with cutouts for the sink or stove—here you need to plan additional reinforcement, for example with mounting rails underneath the countertop.

In terms of weight, the countertops can bear quite a lot, but make sure no heavy loads are concentrated on small areas. The load should be distributed evenly across all cabinet surfaces, which help support the weight.
