Good evening to the forum,
We have purchased an old house by the lake and are planning several renovation works.
First, I want to remove the textured plaster in the children's room and then wallpaper the walls. What is the best way to remove the plaster?
Best regards and thanks in advance for the answers

Hi Haus am See,
Of course, it would be a lot of work if you had to chip everything off. Therefore, I can only agree with Rufus's suggestion. If the textured plaster is not too coarse, I would also level it with a filler compound. But only if the textured plaster is still well-adhered and dry.
