My question is how I can quickly and easily repair these damages at home without having to replace the doors entirely. Are there practical methods or products to simply fix these common signs of wear and tear? That might work, but is it really that easy and quick to do? Especially with high-gloss surfaces, sanding can be tricky because it’s hard to match the finish and it can also look uneven. Aren’t there more specialized repair kits or sealants for this? You often hear about two-component fillers or putties that can be sanded afterward – but how practical is that for DIY use if you don’t want to treat the entire surface?

Oh yes, I have also repaired such doors at home! 🙂 For me, using a repair kit was brilliant because it includes everything you need. Simply fill the dents with the special compound, let it dry briefly, sand it lightly, and then apply the high-gloss paint pen. The result really surprised me; the doors looked almost like new!
