1. Clean only with a slightly damp, soft cloth. Very important: Do not use aggressive cleaning agents or abrasive sponges.
2. Attach felt pads with sufficient thickness (at least 3 mm (1/8 inch)) under heavy items.
3. For additional protection, matte polyurethane protective films designed specifically for furniture can be used. These can be removed without leaving any residue.
4. Reduce mechanical stress, for example, do not place sharp-edged objects directly on surfaces without a protective layer.

Special repair markers or wax pastes designed for furniture can help to somewhat conceal the damage. It is important to match the color as closely as possible. However, deep scratches or damaged edges are difficult to repair invisibly. In such cases, replacing the damaged surface, for example with custom-fit laminates, is usually recommended.
