I recently installed some Ikea Metod drawers, but despite correct assembly, a few of these drawers keep falling out when I pull them open. My question is: How can I reliably prevent Ikea Metod drawers from coming out of the cabinet? Are there any proven techniques, installation adjustments, or additional parts that can help with this? I am using the Metod soft-close drawer slides, but that doesn’t seem to be enough. I am also curious whether the problem might be caused by incorrect installation of the slides or if there are any special considerations to ensure proper function. Thanks in advance to everyone who shares their experience here!

Very helpful tips here, thanks for that. My conclusion so far:
- Careful installation and adjustment are essential
- Checking the locking tabs and extension stops is mandatory
- If necessary, retrofit with safety devices or maintain the rails
I will now try the precise adjustment and will report whether it solves the problem.
