Hello everyone, I am currently having trouble finding the right screw size for my IKEA Platsa furniture. The included screws either don’t fit exactly or seem to be too short or too long for their intended use. Since Platsa is modular and apparently uses different modules, I would like to know how to systematically and reliably select the correct screws without having to experiment multiple times or risk damaging the furniture parts. I am especially interested in what technical factors to consider, whether the length or diameter is more important, which types of screws are specifically recommended, and if anyone has experience with alternative screws in case the originals are missing or lost.
