Good morning everyone, I wanted to ask how you clean your Billy shelves without damaging the surface. I’ve noticed that aggressive cleaning products or overly damp cloths can slightly affect the white coated surface or leave dull spots. It would be great if anyone has experience or tips on how to clean the shelves gently and which products really work to keep the material looking good for a long time. So far, I usually just use a damp microfiber cloth, but for tougher stains, I’d like to know what you recommend. Thanks in advance! 🙂
I would not use glass cleaner or all-purpose cleaner on BILLY shelves. These often contain solvents or alcohol that can dull or dissolve the surface. It is best to clean them with water and a mild dish detergent, then wipe dry immediately. This will protect the shelves in the long term.
