Hello everyone,

I have a problem: I have roller shutters on windows that cannot be opened, and after lowering them, you can see the dirt on the shutters through the glass.

Does anyone know an effective method to clean exterior roller shutters without having to open the window? All tips and tricks are welcome!

Thank you in advance!

Access from the outside and build out. Unfortunately, there is no other way.

This question came up just a few days ago here. At that time, I recommended a "clean blind" tool to the original poster. Search the forum for that thread. He then got the tool and was very impressed. He can probably tell you exactly what he bought. I haven’t used it myself yet.

So yes, it’s possible. And it seems to work well (although it takes a bit of time).

Thanks for the tip about the “Clean Blind.” I will order it and hope I can clean as effectively as shown in the YouTube videos.
