Hello everyone, I am planning to install IKEA Pax doors in my home, but I want to equip them with handles in different colors to give my interior a unique look. My question is: How can these doors be fitted with handles in various colors without compromising functionality and appearance? Are there specific installation methods or recommendations to consider? Perhaps someone has practical experience or tips on the best way to achieve this—especially regarding the attachment of the handles, suitable screws, or possibly alternative types of handles.

For installing the different-colored handles on IKEA Pax Nexustüren, I recommend the following procedure:
- Tools:
- Cordless drill with adjustable torque (to prevent overtightening)
- Spirit level or installation template (for precise alignment)
- Pencil (for marking drill holes)
- Phillips screwdriver
- Small drill bit (3–4 mm (0.1–0.15 inches)) if you need to drill new holes
- Thread-locking compound (optional)
- Procedure:
1. If there are existing holes in the doors, check the hole spacing and note it for all handles.
2. For new holes, use a template or spirit level for accurate marking.
3. Drill carefully only on the inside of the door to avoid damaging the front surface.
4. Insert screws lightly at first, check the alignment with the spirit level, then tighten fully.
5. For handles in different colors, try to choose handles with the same hole spacing for easy replacement.
6. For different handle styles, make sure the handle remains easy to grip from an ergonomic point of view.
