Hello everyone, I have a small issue with my IKEA Brimnes drawers. Although they were assembled correctly, the drawers sometimes wobble and don’t feel very stable, especially when fully loaded. My question is: how can I stabilize the IKEA Brimnes drawers so they feel secure and more durable without losing their functionality? I’m also interested in solutions beyond simply tightening the screws, as I have already tried that. Does anyone have tips on reinforcements, additional fastenings, or alternative installation methods? Thanks in advance!

Hey Deovin! I read your question and just want to say: You’ll definitely manage it great!! 🙂

I also had issues with the Brimnes drawers when I filled them with clothes and some heavier items. What helped me was using small metal brackets that I attached to the inside of the drawers. That makes the whole thing feel much more solid!
And very important: Tighten all the screws again, that really makes a difference. Good luck, you’ve got this!

For increased stability, you can also use adhesive tape or foam rubber at critical points between the drawer and the cabinet. This will create a firmer fit and reduce any looseness.
