Hello everyone, I bought the IKEA Brimnes bed and am currently a bit stuck with the assembly. My specific question is: what are the best ways to avoid common problems when putting together the Brimnes bed? I have already read several parts of the instructions, but some steps are not entirely clear, especially the assembly of the storage boxes and inserting the slatted bed bases. That is a very sensible caution. Especially with particleboard or veneered parts, you should start with a low setting. Personally, I proceed like this: begin with a cordless drill on a low torque setting, and once the screw bites, continue screwing by hand. This way, you avoid over-tightening and damaging the material.
