Hello everyone, I recently assembled some IKEA Metod kitchen cabinets, and I noticed that some doors are not properly aligned and close unevenly. My question is: How can I adjust IKEA Metod cabinets myself to level the doors precisely and achieve optimal gaps? Are there any tips regarding the hinges or adjustment screws that I should be aware of? I suspect that a specific sequence and procedure, possibly with special tools, might be helpful. I’m looking forward to practical advice from you, especially which steps are most important to avoid visible gaps or sagging doors.

Then fine-tune them, starting with adjusting the height, followed by aligning them sideways, and finally setting the hinge depth. I wouldn’t use a cordless drill for this; a small screwdriver is better for more precise control. Always make small adjustments, otherwise the door can quickly be misaligned. It’s not always fun, but after adjusting, the kitchen really looks great!
