ᐅ House Placement on a Corner Lot with South/East Facing Streets

I have been a silent reader so far, but our project is becoming more concrete, and at the moment I am struggling a bit with the orientation of the house on the corner plot.

In brief, here are some details:

Plot size: 557m² (about 5990 sq ft)
Planned living area: approx. 128m² (about 1378 sq ft)
House dimensions: 10.99m x 8.49m (36 ft x 28 ft)
A double carport is also planned
The building setback line according to the development plan is 3m (10 ft)

Attached are the site plan and a satellite image – what are your ideas for placing the house along with the double carport?

Where is the connection point for utilities?

Is the floor plan (hopefully) not finalized yet?

Hello, I can’t give you the exact utility connection point off the top of my head. Since almost all houses on the "left" side of the street (it’s a continuous street) are built on the south side, I assume it’s somewhere around there.
The floor plan is fixed as a draft but can still be changed. Depending on the position, it would theoretically only need to be mirrored.

With the entrance facing the street, the floor plan needs to be adjusted accordingly.

I’m really struggling to decide where to place the entrance on the east side – creating privacy would be much easier with a northeast-facing terrace and a southern entrance. Does anyone have experience with a north-facing terrace, or perhaps ideas on how to maximize sunlight on the terrace with a southern entrance given this plot layout?

I would not place the entrance on the south side.
