You have 20 LAN outlets and 2 server racks with 48 units each???
Are you planning to set up a server farm? A single 48-port switch would be enough for that. You might add a router, modem, and a small NAS if needed. You will never need more than 10 rack units (U).
We have over 110 LAN outlets, and what we have (including 10 Gbit LAN) is less than your two racks.
From what I can see, the rack is not suitable for damp environments.
Better seal it off for the garage and cover it with wood. Then you’d have a humidor for cigars. That would fit perfectly in the man cave area. Sorry, but what exactly do you need 110 LAN outlets for?
Our building is somewhat larger. Just because of that, there are already more outlets. If you scale it up from your size, you would be looking at over 80 outlets.
Almost all of them are in use or planned. We need many just for the technology and infrastructure.
Home automation, heating, air conditioning, ventilation, pool, access points, cameras, charging stations, access controls, doorbells, plus exercise equipment, TVs, gaming consoles, computers, printers, scanners, phones (IP)...
Additionally, there are outlets in the floor beneath the sofa and dining table for when higher speeds are needed.
There are also extra ports in the guest room, plus a few spares.
These are several separate networks (VLANs) for different functions and security levels.
So overall, it’s more on the tech-savvy or nerdy side.
Today the measurements were finally taken. Unfortunately, it turned out that we cannot keep the old hedge after all.
Because of the excavation and the slope, it would topple over. Additionally, we can build nearly 50 meters (50 yards) of extra retaining wall about 3 meters (10 feet) high. That really takes the fun out of it...

Today, finally, the survey was done. Unfortunately, it turned out that we can’t keep the old hedge after all.
Due to the excavation pit and the slope, it would topple over. On top of that, we can still build almost 50 meters of additional retaining wall (about 3 meters high) on the slope. This really takes the fun out of it... Crazy stuff, good thing we’re building on flat land and I only have a slope of 40cm (16 inches) over 20m (65 feet).
I’m not quite that tech-savvy though.
