Hello,

It would be really great if everyone here could just post one or a few pictures showing the current state of their house.

I'll start right away.

For renovations, it’s best to provide a comparison of before and after the remodeling.

Before March 2014:

After May 2015:

The bricks are installed on the house. Each of the two roofs has two sections covered with solar tiles. The majority of the tiles are standard. I took the photo with my phone from about 300 meters (980 feet) away on a viaduct. From that distance, you can hardly see any of the photovoltaic sections. The "green" you see is the scaffold netting.

In the photo, I can't see any difference at all.

That's how it should be, with 9.99 kWp installed. When you get closer and the angle of the sunlight is "unfavorable," you can see a different reflection. I will send pictures of that once the scaffolding is gone.

I’m curious about how strong the reflection is. Here, someone has an installation on their roof that sometimes makes me close the kitchen blind because of the glare.

Reflection is an issue with all glass surfaces—whether windows or photovoltaic modules—including solar roof tiles. Our neighbors will not be affected due to the location of the house.

That’s why I had the photovoltaic system explicitly included in the building permit / planning permission application, along with a representation in the submitted plans. This way, the neighbors cannot complain afterward with a signature.
