Hello,

It would be really great if everyone here could just post one or a few pictures showing the current state of their house.

I'll start right away.

For renovations, it’s best to provide a comparison of before and after the remodeling.

Before March 2014:

After May 2015:

Which specific cables does he need to install in conduit? I’ll tell him to do that tomorrow.

I’m neither an electrician nor an expert, just to clarify.

The standard "DIN 18015-1:2013-1" mentions "...information and communication technology (ICT), distribution systems for radio/television or broadcasting and communication technology (BC), as well as interactive services and, if applicable, high-voltage systems, each requiring separate conduit networks," and further states "...it must be possible to pull or replace cables..."

More information can be found via Google for "DIN 18015-1:2013-1" (quoted passages are from that source).

In my interpretation, this means that the following should be installed in conduit:
- TV cables (satellite/cable)
- Network (LAN)
- Telephone lines

I have no idea how control cables for KNX, for example, are handled.

I would contact the expert; they can certainly answer your question off the top of their head.

I would contact the surveyor; they can definitely answer that question off the cuff.

I don’t have one yet. The new building surveyor will recommend someone to me later. But I won’t meet them until July 2nd.

It is comfortably warm inside the house, and at 31 degrees Celsius (88°F), the construction dryers are doing their job, causing the electricity meter to spin.

In the meantime, we have received the tiles, and preparations for the garden shed are underway.

The large one is good. The smaller ones are just toys. We had three large ones... I bought them myself on Amazon and then resold them for about 80% of the original price. They had around 2000 hours on the clock.

Renting would have been significantly more expensive.

The utility connections are being installed, and the electrician is working hard. Next week, the air-source heat pump and the gas heating system will be delivered, and then the warm-up phase will begin.

It seems to me that your interpretation (that these must be in empty conduits) goes too far – in my view, it rather means: if empty conduits are used, then ITC and electrical wiring should not be run together in the same conduit.
