These are not stainless steel profiles but regular galvanized drywall profiles.Anyway, it’s metal and not wood. I only know these for lightweight partition walls, for example, not for sloped ceilings. But it doesn’t really matter, it just caught my eye because we are also currently working on drywall.

There is a risk they might squeak when moving... Wood would probably be more comfortable, but it is no longer standard practice nowadays.

Drilling and sawing—nobody wants to disturb the Sunday peace, especially not after a football disaster. Tomorrow we’ll continue with the wooden deck. Maybe the wall stones will even arrive by then?
PS: Take a look at my perfect lawn, which I only seeded in May. I’m so proud! :P

Note my perfect lawn, which I only seeded in May. Didn’t you recently suspect that it had washed away and needed to be reseeded?

daniels8717 Jun 2018 22:04Yes... behind the pergola, there were two heavy rainfalls within one week. However, I only seeded it in June. I do it in stages; otherwise, I can’t water it properly.
The lawn was washed away and is now growing wherever it’s not supposed to, even on weed control fabric without any soil :-/
Edit: I have to be honest, I wouldn’t finish by rolling the soil anymore. The ground then absorbs water much worse. Although it is said that grass is a light germinator and shouldn’t be worked into the soil, this method worked perfectly: rolling, applying fertilizer and seed, and gently working it in with a rake. The surface is rough, and the water soaks in immediately. That worked perfectly. I rolled the second section at the end, and after every light rain, there are puddles!
