Hello,

It would be really great if everyone here could just post one or a few pictures showing the current state of their house.

I'll start right away.

For renovations, it’s best to provide a comparison of before and after the remodeling.

Before March 2014:

After May 2015:

So, that's all we have. That's already quite a lot. When it comes to circuit breakers and RCDs.

Is that for an entire house or per floor?! [emoji848] It looks a bit tiny [emoji51]

Well, I honestly can't judge whether it's too small; this was determined by the electrician I worked with to finalize sockets, lighting, etc., about a year ago! I just know that there is something separate for the photovoltaic system...

A lot has happened. The electrician and plumber have neatly installed cables and pipes, and the drywall work is also complete. The plasterers have been working hard this week as well. We are also happy to finally see the house without the obstructive scaffolding. Things are moving quickly, and we are right on schedule. In the week after next, preparations for the underfloor heating and screed will begin.

And the plasterers...
Shell construction room: window on the left, smooth wall on the right, cables hanging down from the ceiling.

Small, empty room with gray wall, window on the left, visible pipe on the ceiling.

Unfinished construction space with concrete walls, loose cables hanging from the ceiling, and a cardboard box on the floor.

Unfinished interior of a construction site: ladder, cables on the floor, window covered with plastic film, building materials.

Shell construction room: empty walls, open door to adjacent room, cables on the floor, green cabinets on the left.

Fascinating, the scaffolding is still up here; we are still waiting for the jointing work, but our dormers are also still bare – the tiles underneath are missing as well as the side cladding (slate). No idea why this hasn’t been done yet. Do you know why it’s still missing at your place?

The slate cladding can only be installed after the roof underlayment, and the lower rows of tiles only after the slate. We hope the roofer will complete this tomorrow. At least he installed the rainwater downpipes today.
