Another question: do you all have aluminum window sills or natural stone on the exterior?
I’m still undecided... and are natural stone window sills from the DIY store any good, or should they be ordered from a stonemason? These are standard aluminum window sills. Here are the floor plans for the upper floor and ground floor as requested by matte1987—I think the basement is not relevant... Although the wellness area on the upper floor is not current; we omitted the drywall partition and swapped the shower and sauna. Some small walls in the garage were also removed. Regarding the price again: this is an architect-designed house, meaning the architect puts each trade out to tender and we negotiate. So, no fixed price. Thanks for the positive feedback, I’m glad you like it
I like it. I don’t want to make a big issue out of it, but how does the elevator work? If I were to indulge in that luxury, having a staircase in front of the house would be a deal-breaker for me.
As far as I can see, the half-level from the driveway including the garage isn’t accessible by the elevator.
Wouldn’t it be possible to solve this more conveniently, for example, by entering the elevator through the utility room near the garage?

Installing the elevator so that we can enter it directly from the garage would not have been possible from an insulation standpoint, at least not in compliance with KFW standards. The garage is an unheated cold space. If wheelchair access throughout the house is really desired, a path can be created through the garden that leads to the terrace. Unfortunately, there is no other option because there is a height difference of almost 1.80 meters (5 ft 11 in) from the street to the entrance due to the sloping site... and we also did not want to partially bury the house.

How heavy will the pool be?

Thanks for your positive feedback, I’m glad you like it. We are also building with an architect and understand that there is no fixed price in this case.
