Hello,

It would be really great if everyone here could just post one or a few pictures showing the current state of their house.

I'll start right away.

For renovations, it’s best to provide a comparison of before and after the remodeling.

Before March 2014:

After May 2015:

Or the other way around, onto the plaster. Like this.

Single-family house with red tiled roof, white plaster, and garage on the left at a construction site.

Yes, progress is quite fast,
but the roof structure unfortunately won't be ready until week 48, not possible earlier.
Due to the huge construction boom, there are waits for materials in many places.
.

Same here, the roof structure was originally scheduled for week 43 but has now been postponed to week 46... let’s see if it will actually happen then.

You have waterproof slurry on the plaster?

Actually, the waterproof slurry should be applied under the insulation at the base.

Garage? Insulation?
Garage!
It’s built partially underground at the back. It was delivered plastered by Reker on a truck. I got a bag of sealing slurry from the structural engineer and applied it twice before the earth was backfilled against it. He says that’s fine. After all, it’s just a garage, Karsten.

There are precast concrete garages available directly from the factory that can be partially installed below ground level. However, this might deserve its own dedicated thread, as I don’t have any relevant photos myself.

Which type of ditch slurry is this?
