Hello,

It would be really great if everyone here could just post one or a few pictures showing the current state of their house.

I'll start right away.

For renovations, it’s best to provide a comparison of before and after the remodeling.

After May 2015:

Varioself uses this Danish expanded clay system. If you choose it, it’s that or you don’t. It’s a mix between a prefab house and traditional masonry. An acquaintance of ours has a Varioself house. It works without any issues. Karsten

To me, it looks more like "panel by panel" construction.

Dear friends of homebuilding,

Following posts #1121 and #1241, here is the next update. The excavation for the basement has been completed.

There is also a small before-and-after comparison.
This is how the plot looked initially, and this is how it looked after five working days and 38 trucks loaded with excavated material.

Best regards

Axel

What have they been doing for five days? [emoji6]

Well, a hardworking excavator operator (one of the two bosses personally) has moved a huge amount of soil and loaded 38 trucks, also uncovered the sewer connection and dug the pit for the inspection chamber, and finally started shaping the future site (on the right and in front of the basement there are two extensions on slab foundations).

Best regards

Axel

Today, the blower door test was conducted before continuing with the interior construction. The average value was 0.42.
