Is this really a big issue? In our rental house, we don’t have any bird deterrent wires and no problems at all. But it might also depend on the specific area.

bauenmk20202 Jul 2021 20:05I probably should have installed the bird deterrent while the scaffolding was still up! Now we have a lot of droppings at the base of the facade because a bird of prey has taken over our roof / rafter tails. There are large fields on two sides. Seems to be a good vantage point...
In our rented apartment, jay birds tried to build a nest for three consecutive years, and this summer they finally succeeded. They are beautiful animals, but not the best nest builders, as they dropped large amounts of branches.
