Hello,

It would be really great if everyone here could just post one or a few pictures showing the current state of their house.

I'll start right away.

For renovations, it’s best to provide a comparison of before and after the remodeling.

Before March 2014:

After May 2015:

The dent at the top is only visible in certain lighting. It is truly impossible to plaster it without any slight unevenness.
There was just a scaffold board there.

Please don’t take it the wrong way, but I’ve often come across that term regarding RGB.
It’s possible to do, but it usually doesn’t look as good as the builder intended.
In our neighborhood, there are two houses that light up their entire facade with different colors every evening. Honestly, I don’t know where people get these ideas from...

The facade will remain white. But dimmed orange lighting in the evening is nice for watching TV.

Was this approved? At one of the construction projects we manage, the owner wanted colored lighting but was stopped due to the proximity to the street and the resulting potential traffic hazard.

Something old for a change (The wall made of Baumberg sandstone is at least 270 years old)

What do I need to get permission for here? I’m not going to ask anyone’s permission for the lighting I use at home, as long as I’m not blinding anyone.

This wasn’t directed at you, but at the neighbor described earlier who lights up their house in multiple colors.
