Hello,

It would be really great if everyone here could just post one or a few pictures showing the current state of their house.

I'll start right away.

For renovations, it’s best to provide a comparison of before and after the remodeling.

I think it’s more related to the architect. He seems to be quite active online. He might object to having his work shared here for free, where any general contractor could incorporate it into their standard portfolio without compensation...

That’s exactly right. The architect a) designed the house (his concept) and b) paid a professional photographer to take pictures for himself and his client. The photos are essentially his property. The pictures of my daughter had/ have a copyright.

Did you know that architects generally retain intellectual property rights on their buildings for life?
In theory, no changes that affect the architecture or overall appearance of the building can be made without their consent.
I first encountered this when someone wanted to place large stones as barriers at a building. The architect intervened, arguing that this would change the impact of the building. 😎

That is, at this point, just your assumption. The rights under which the photos were taken are purely speculative.
