Hello,

It would be really great if everyone here could just post one or a few pictures showing the current state of their house.

I'll start right away.

For renovations, it’s best to provide a comparison of before and after the remodeling.

After May 2015:

@rick2018: You are familiar with the Graf system; it’s the standard Silentio model. On the outlet side, it’s 1 inch. The cistern, almost opposite to yours, has only 7.5 m³ (265 ft³). I would like to send you a private message, but unfortunately, I can’t.

Self-installation of technical equipment for the cistern (water level measurement, self-cleaning filter) and the domestic water system with potable water top-up for toilets using rainwater has been completed (pipe clamps and neat pipe routing to follow):

I had planned the same for toilets and the washing machine... recently a salesperson told me it wouldn’t be worthwhile for my situation because the yield would be too low... no idea now.

@dab_dab you should have received a private message (unless the system is acting up again)
@tumaa economically, connecting to the toilets usually isn’t worthwhile (additional piping, pump operation, etc.). Also, the toilets often get heavily soiled because the filter only removes suspended solids. Depending on the water, deposits can form. I would never do it with the washing machine. It’s better to have a hot water connection for the washing machine if it’s close to the heating system or manifold (short piping).
You should use your rainwater/well water for the garden instead.

How are you planning to deal with the sloped ceilings in the bedrooms?

Good morning

The wardrobe will have a side panel as well, which will include shelves and a surface to place clothes on.
A “frame” will be built into the slope with a sliding section. This will allow access to the “storage” area behind the wardrobe where suitcases and similar items will be kept.
White wardrobe with doors and drawers under sloped ceiling in attic near roof window.

Modern kitchen with tall cabinet featuring wooden strips, white cabinets on the right, and window with blinds.

The next 50 tons are ready.

Three piles of soil on a construction site, manhole cover in the foreground, blooming trees in the background.

Let's see if it will be enough for the front.
