Hello,

It would be really great if everyone here could just post one or a few pictures showing the current state of their house.

I'll start right away.

For renovations, it’s best to provide a comparison of before and after the remodeling.

Before March 2014:

After May 2015:

"Low budget house" that still looks stylish, but what about a landscape gardener for the outdoor area? How much do they typically cost and what tasks need to be done?

From the beginning, landscaping was planned with a budget of around 15,000 (currency not specified) out of the 285,000 total. This should be sufficient. Even if the cost increases by 1,500, it won’t throw us off track. He is responsible for site planning, laying terrace paving and access paths, the front door platform, gravel driveway with Baltic Sea pebbles. Edge strips will be made from vertical concrete slabs, a gravel border around the house and garage, and the slope to the terrace will be supported with planting rings in anthracite color. He will also handle site drainage and will sow the lawn. He is constructing the rainwater protection embankment at the top. We will plant the rings ourselves and will green the embankment with a laurel hedge. Roses and lavender will grow there over time.

I promised my wife that there would be no moving in through sand and dirt or over wooden pallets. That will not happen. If we move in during September, there will already be a basic garden rather than a wasteland. We prefer this over gray windows or a fingerprint-resistant front door. Karsten

All tasks that I would not carry out myself either ...
