Bieber08152 Aug 2017 13:26@DNL please share some details about the planned floor construction ... (possibly in a new thread).
Since tiles were being discussed in another thread—sort of a “who can offer more” challenge—today Harry started tiling. Nothing fancy, just tiles from Harry’s tile market. Meanwhile, the landscape gardener has finished building up the embankment against the flood coming from the mountain. Now everything is calm.
As we have also made good progress with the painting, the kitchen will be installed on the 14th by Ikea, and the staircase and interior doors will be fitted on the 10th. Since gas, water, electricity, and telecommunications are all in the house, by early September we will only need to install the vinyl flooring. The moving truck arrives on September 11th. There is still almost 80 left in the construction account, so everything is relaxed. A short autumn vacation is still possible. Karsten

The photos are a few days old, and the screed installer hasn’t raised any complaints. He has been working with the company for a while.
First photo is the upper floor. Second photo is the ground floor, where all the technical equipment will be installed.
Construction layers (roughly, don’t hold me to exact centimeters):
Ground floor: 8 cm (3 inches) insulation and, where pipes are, loose fill. 4 cm (1.5 inches) insulation. 4 cm (1.5 inches) system panels for the underfloor heating. 7 cm (3 inches) screed.
Upper floor: 4 cm (1.5 inches) sound insulation and loose fill, 4 cm (1.5 inches) insulation, 4 cm (1.5 inches) system panels, 7 cm (3 inches) screed.
This means the pipes do not come into contact with the screed. There are still a few centimeters between them.
The cables also do not come into contact with the screed. Is that what you meant, Bieber0815?
