What are the advantages and disadvantages of solid construction compared to lightweight frame construction (prefabricated house)?

Is it better to build with an architect or a general contractor?

So we decided on a prefab house. The company handled the entire process. We took care of the building plot, and that was it... I was very satisfied with the whole process and would choose it again anytime. As for the prefab house: the quality can no longer be compared to that of years ago. We live here very comfortably and happily 😉
