Hello everyone,

after a long and unsuccessful search on the internet, I hope to find some help here.

We inherited a Faktum kitchen in our house, and suddenly the horizontal door slams shut without any damping.
I assume the damper is broken but the hinge is still intact.

Since I didn’t order this kitchen myself, I don’t know the names of these parts.
Could you maybe tell me where I can order something like this (just the damper possibly)?
Or if the current hinge from Metod might fit without needing to drill?
I have already contacted Blum and was referred to IKEA service.

Thank you very much in advance
Metal folding or support arm on a white kitchen cabinet, visibly open.

Metal mounting rail with screws and sticker, presumably the back of a device.

Can be purchased separately: Utrusta soft-close hinge for horizontal door, white. Item number 837.880.2
The pair costs 44€

P.S. The item number is printed on every Ikea product ;-) So as long as it’s available, very easy to reorder ;-)

Thank you for your response.
I still don’t see how the new hinges for Metod could fit the Faktum version—different item number than mine, a different version, and a different shape.
To avoid possibly “digging deeper,” I had the tiny hope of being able to buy just the dampers somewhere.
Best regards
