Good evening,
We are currently building and not yet living in the house. Now our house has experienced its first frost, and when I was at the site yesterday, I was shocked. The black coating on the bricks is flaking off all over the house. We have Röben bricks, Portland model. This can’t be true. Why is this happening, and especially, it certainly can’t stay like this.
Also, I noticed a strange spot. What could that be?
We just had an inspector visit, unfortunately before this happened. Every visit from the inspector costs us €600 plus €360 for a report. Of course, we would consider calling them again, but maybe someone here has an idea. Pictures are attached.
Thank you very much!

Well, I would say cheap clinker brick! Colored on the surface but not fully through. It's the same with paving stones.
I'm curious how it will be resolved.I am curious too, but I wouldn’t call these cheap at nearly 1€/brick.

I just checked, €1.01 per brick. Is that cheap?
