We have a problem with loud "tock, tock" noises. Water is drained from the upper roof at four points, but the noise only occurs at one of these locations.
We have sound-insulating anchors with rubber sleeves on the clamps. However, none of this helps when the water hits the "I believe 35°" or maybe 15°—I’m not sure! In any case, I have observed that the drops land directly on the bend. Normally, the water should flow along the inside wall of the downspout. I could possibly make a video of this.
I have also considered a slight slope so that the water doesn’t drip straight down inside the downspout and hit the bend directly. Has anyone had experience with this? What else can I do?
The roofer says that everything is normal.
