Hello everyone,
this time a shorter introduction from me 🙂.
Does anyone have experience with the manufacturer Himolla? We felt quite comfortable trying out one of their sofas in the furniture store and actually liked the reclining function integrated into the sofa. Before we start configuring one of these, I wanted to ask here about your experiences, since most online reviews for this manufacturer are rather negative (which, of course, doesn’t necessarily mean everything is bad).
I would appreciate any feedback.
Best regards

Your arguments in favor of quality are not necessarily the strongest, don’t you think? Family business, made in Germany? It’s already 2022... by now, different criteria are really needed to claim good quality directly. The times when that alone was a sign of quality, in my opinion, are long gone, at least in a general sense like it might have been before.
Is the quality really good, or is it only supposed to be good because of that?
But still, thanks for your reply. I had no idea they were that large! I had never heard or read about the brand before (furniture is not really a topic I follow daily anyway). However, 70 reviews really aren’t that many.

The furniture lasts longer than 6 months without sagging or the fabric wearing out 😉 . Personal experience – although in the past I preferred buying from Ewald Schillig (but I’m not sure how current their quality is after the takeover/insolvency).Somewhere around 3,500 employees and almost 400,000 upholstered furniture pieces produced per year. You’ll find them only in specialized stores (furniture stores). So, they are not sold off cheaply anywhere. That already indicates a certain commitment to quality.
I really hope a sofa that costs nearly five figures isn’t already worn out after just 6 months!
That’s exactly why I’m asking about the quality… I’m definitely not careless with spending money, but I understand that quality usually (rightly) comes at a price. If I can have peace of mind for 10 years, I can accept paying twice as much for a sofa compared to one that’s already worn out after 5 years.
Maybe someone else has been using their Himolla sofa for longer than 6 months?

I’ve never lived in a house that long, and with each new property, there were also new furnishings 🙄Similar topics
