Hello everyone,

Since I do a lot of manual work myself, I know how much good tools can help during the execution. I have had little experience with painting and plastering so far, but I will be doing these tasks myself. I have already bought a decent plastering tool set and wanted to know if there is also a good painting tool set? All those Amazon sets are okay for one room but not suitable for an entire house. Do you have a good manufacturer to recommend?

Thank you very much!

No, I would avoid that because you would trap moisture that manages to get in there. You’re absolutely right—if it’s not constantly damp, drywall handles moisture very well and can release it effectively.

You are exactly right, if it’s not constantly damp, gypsum handles moisture very well and can release it effectively.

Ok, great, thanks. Can we also use the decorative quartz for that, or would that be the wrong approach? It would look strange if the quartz is everywhere except there 😀

Why not? Is it vapor-tight?

Hmm, the manufacturer even specifies good vapor permeability. Ok, question answered, thank you very much.
