Hello everyone,

Since I do a lot of manual work myself, I know how much good tools can help during the execution. I have had little experience with painting and plastering so far, but I will be doing these tasks myself. I have already bought a decent plastering tool set and wanted to know if there is also a good painting tool set? All those Amazon sets are okay for one room but not suitable for an entire house. Do you have a good manufacturer to recommend?

Thank you very much!

After the third coat, it looks quite neat now. However, for the rest of the house, we want to apply Haering decorative quartz. Does anyone know how well it covers? Should I prime it first with white?

Applying it twice is more than enough, whether in white or tinted. The two coats are mainly to achieve an even surface texture. I used the product myself (medium grain).

Perfect, thanks. But did you use a cheaper paint as a primer?

No! Not even on dark surfaces like green corrugated board. Priming with paint is absolutely unnecessary.

Ok, great, thanks! I’ll go ahead and order 10 buckets. Could you maybe share a picture of the medium one? We are deciding between fine and medium. Thanks a lot.

This is how it looks in my case. Overview photo, about 7cm (3 inches) from the wall, about 30cm (12 inches) from the wall.

Small bathroom with sink, toilet, mirror; windowsill with two plants and a pumpkin.
