Hello everyone,
Since I do a lot of manual work myself, I know how much good tools can help during the execution. I have had little experience with painting and plastering so far, but I will be doing these tasks myself. I have already bought a decent plastering tool set and wanted to know if there is also a good painting tool set? All those Amazon sets are okay for one room but not suitable for an entire house. Do you have a good manufacturer to recommend?
Thank you very much!

Never buying paint from a hardware store again! No matter which one...That’s strange. I’ve heard similar comments, and we purchased all our paint for the house and exterior structures from a specialist store, which required us to make quite a trip. However, I was only moderately satisfied with the interior white paint. It needed at least three coats to achieve decent coverage. In the end, we were short about half a bucket for the utility room. Since it wasn’t that important there, I bought a small bucket of white paint from the local hardware store nearby. It was ten times better—fully covering after just one coat, no streaks or any other issues. I was really annoyed that I hadn’t chosen that type from the start.SaniererNRW123 schrieb:

However, I find their information regarding the area coverage to be inaccurate. We used almost twice as much paint as stated.I didn’t notice any real difference between cheap and expensive rollers and brushes.
What I found more important was to replace the roller more often; washing and reusing it multiple times like in the old days is rather ineffective.
You can remove paint quite well with a box wrench, but now we use easyputz for everything, and the fine grains can’t be washed out.
@kati1337 you’re right… only the primer was more durable than stated, otherwise it’s always been false advertising haha, no idea if the manufacturers expect you to apply just 0.1mm (0.004 inches) thick or dilute the products…
