Hello everyone,
The time is slowly coming when it’s possible to clean the driveway and the terrace.
I’m already thinking about a pressure washer, but which one would be suitable?
It’s clear that Kärcher is the market leader and very good quality.

What alternatives do you have and would recommend?

I didn’t mean those “UFOs,” but rather brushes that you attach to a carrier or tractor. Joint cleaning attachments, which can be used with brush cutters, also work very well.

I like this forum^^
Many opinions when you need them, and at the same time helpful support 🙂

I really wanted to restore the stones to their original condition using a pressure washer, but the experience shared by some members here has changed my perspective.
A pressure washer probably isn’t the solution.

You’ve convinced me to stick with scrubbing. The risk of damaging the new stones or slabs is too high.^^

Oh, you’re already that far with your house? – that’s great. But as you yourself say...

My to-do list is long and keeps getting longer 🙂
Especially since management has the final say...

Scrubbing is good for muscles, metabolism, and if done quickly enough it replaces cardio training.

I definitely need that... 😀

I have simply promoted the good old-fashioned scrubbing.

Does that mean you’re not quite ready yet, and you just have a long list of tasks to work through?
Or are you moving slowly, and the moss is growing in the cracks of the to-do list?

But besides baking soda/soap/yeast and scrubbing manually with a brush, are there any other options? Probably not?
Is the mechanical stress from scrubbing really gentler on the stones than a pressure washer? I can hardly imagine that.

Driveway, walkway, outside, scrubbing? 😀 😳 When I was younger, about 5 years ago, we just swept with a broom with red bristles for 5 € (around 5 USD). A little insider tip, give it a try. 😉
