Hello everyone,
Our house is almost ready to move into, so now we’re planning the garden. I’ve been looking for a way to hide the trash bins for a while, as I don’t find them very attractive standing out in the driveway. We have a 240-liter (63 gallons) organic waste bin, a 240-liter (63 gallons) paper recycling bin, a 120-liter (32 gallons) general waste bin, and also the yellow recycling bag. I have searched a lot online for bin storage boxes, but nothing has really impressed me so far. Especially since most options cost well over 1000 euros. Maybe I’m wrong, but at the moment, I think there must be something more affordable?
Ideally, we’d like a solution that can be integrated into the garden fence or wall. Unfortunately, the driveway isn’t flat but slopes slightly uphill. It’s really only a small incline, but it might already rule out cabinet-style solutions. I read in one article that the unit needs to be placed on level ground.
I’m still waiting to see if the landscape gardener has any ideas. Otherwise, I’ve considered putting up a bike shed in the front yard that could also fit the trash bins. But that would probably require a building permit / planning permission due to its size…
My biggest dream is also a parcel box integrated into the trash bin enclosure.
Long story short: How have you solved this?

What mistakes?
What mistakes?
Since last week, we have had the Mendler Hwc 83 as a set of three. It is suitable for 3 x 240L (63 gallons) bins and costs around €850. The quality is quite good, except for the door gaps. Those are somewhat of a disaster. Assembly takes about 3 hours and was relatively simple. To fix the door gaps, I will probably have to add a few extra brackets or replace the door hinges. My requirements were the same, and unfortunately, this was the only product that looks good and is priced under €1,000.

Is it better when it's fully raised?

Otherwise, I would appreciate a verbal explanation of your guessing game. That would be too expensive for me. (Soil class 7)
