Hello everyone,

Does anyone know of ways or have ideas on how to implement concealed conduit pipes within an exterior wall that can be “opened” and used when needed? I am referring to the end of the conduit. Wood fiber insulation boards will be installed on the exterior wall. Could you simply cut the conduit flush with the surface and seal it with a blanking plug so it can be plastered over easily? But then there is still the problem that the conduit would be very difficult to locate later. Or would you rather install something like a universal installation box at that spot? I want to make the conduit invisible but still be able to access it if necessary. I would appreciate any suggestions or ideas.
Thank you very much

I’m not very experienced with this yet, but my electrician recently suggested having a 5-core power cable installed in preparation for a possible future electric awning. He said it might be possible to install a flush-mounted box in the exterior wall that has a cover with a chip inside, making the box easy to locate later. However, he couldn’t tell me how much it would cost.

Or embed a magnet in the plaster 😉
