Narcisita21 Dec 2008 10:55Hello, I bought my entire kitchen from IKEA and now I am having problems with the base cabinet FA120 (base cabinet with drawer pull-out).
I assembled the cabinet body and attached four drawer slides. Now, a large front panel is supposed to be mounted on the lowest drawers. However, the front panel has no drill holes for this. It seems like the front panel might be incorrect because it only has two large holes for door hinges.
I’m at a loss and don’t know if the front panel is wrong or not. I also think that not everyone has a router at home or can work like a professional carpenter. Has anyone built this kind of cabinet before and can share some advice?
Thank you in advance.

Hmm, I don’t have that wardrobe, but are you sure you didn’t attach the front panel on the wrong side??
Otherwise, it might really be necessary to drill the screws in with a cordless drill. That way, it will hold much better than if there were already pre-drilled holes.

Hello Narcisita,
I have two base cabinets from Faktum with the large front. For the doors, at least in my case, there was a paper template included. It was placed on the lower opposite side, and the holes to be drilled were marked using a pin. Since I don’t know if you have the same door, I can only tell you about my experience. I also had two large and four small plugs to cover the holes. One of the mounting holes went through the large plug. The doors are probably used for different models.
I hope this helps you.
Good luck
