Hello, we bought an Ikea Godmorgon Odensvik washbasin. It comes with very specific connection parts and a trap. Can I use a faucet without a pop-up waste rod there, or is there a way to make it work with a rod as well? Thanks!

I think your chances are slim. Try taking the siphon parts to a plumbing specialty store, not a hardware store, to see if they have a suitable solution; but I believe you will have to get wet to open the drain stopper.
