Hello,

Here is the original Heinz von Heiden floor plan along with an idea to create some additional storage space. This would be for things you want to store away easily or to include a pantry.

Also, I’m thinking about moving the partition wall between the kitchen and dining area (which should remain open) slightly further to the left to allow for a longer kitchen. The living room door would essentially become the kitchen door, as the wall/passage would then be to the left of the door. The new living room door would shift around the corner, so the entrance would be under the stairs, or there might be no separate door at all, making the living room accessible through the kitchen.

Compared to the original house dimensions of 10.20m x 7.7m (33 ft 6 in x 25 ft 3 in), my design would be only 9.75m x 7.7m (32 ft x 25 ft 3 in).
The square meter values may not be entirely accurate.

Thanks for your feedback.

Heinz von Heiden shows the east at the bottom, transitioning upwards to the west, with the entrance on the right side facing north.
Kitchen: southeast corner
Utility room: northeast corner
Dining area: southwest corner
Carport faces northeast
You basically exit the house and are under the carport.

On the east, north, and west sides, the distance from the building window to the property boundary is 5 meters (16 feet).
On the south side, the average distance is 8.5 meters (28 feet).

The internal layout should not be considered here.

Why? It would still fit unaltered within a 12 x 8 meter (39 ft 4 in x 26 ft 3 in) building plot—wherever that might come from, right?

Also, those very large setback distances are confusing. Could they be more than 3 meters (10 ft)?

I can’t follow them either.

By the way, I find it impolite when the original posters are too lazy to orient their images consistently and to coordinate the scales across their image formats. As a desktop user, I already find this difficult to follow; for mobile users, it must be almost unbearable.

I can only agree... every posted floor plan is oriented differently, with no north arrows or similar indicators. The latest hand drawing doesn’t correspond to any of the previously posted floor plans... so I can’t even tell what @Andre77 actually wants to know.

I don’t see the question in this thread either...
