This is my first question in this forum since I bought an apartment two weeks ago, which includes a part of the roof that I want to convert. I have a few questions and hope you can help me.
The room I want to convert is about 28sqm (300 sq ft). On one side there is a fully insulated sloping roof with two skylights at the end. Currently, there is no floor or heating installed. I expect it to get quite cold up there in winter. Does anyone have experience with electric underfloor heating for heating purposes? Is it worth the money to try to install a radiator up there? Below this room is a bedroom, where it might be possible to run chases upward to install the water pipes. Does anyone have an estimate of the costs? (Radiator installation by a professional due to the multi-unit building) I would handle all preparatory and finishing work myself.
Thank you very much for your help!
Best regards
